WEBDESIGN / ANNA × LEMON JUICE

ANNA× LEMON JUICE

MAKING CREATIVITY WORK.

Two ways of caring
for the same project.

We both research, analyze and make. We notice different things.

WAYS TO WORK

Anna

Start with Anna’s established process when a project needs a clean, calm site designed to convert—supported by client discovery, language, content structure, scope, timing and a focused build.

Lemon Juice

Add Lemon Juice when the project needs creative strategy, visual research, photography, visual direction, custom web design or a more beautiful, interesting site that invites curiosity.

02 / How to work with us

You don’t need to know exactly what you need. Start with what feels closest. The route can change as you go.

03 / How decisions become a website

Words. Images.
One website taking shape.

We start with what you have and what the website needs to do. Language can change the design. Visual research can change the structure. What we learn in the build can change both.

  1. 01

    Strategy & content

    Anna leads · both listen

We work through your goals, audience, pages and content. Anna helps turn that conversation into a sitemap and a clear brief.

    You decide
What visitors need to understand and do, and what belongs on the site.
    You leave with
An agreed site structure and a list of the words, images and information still needed.
  2. 02

    Creative direction

    Jay leads · where needed

Jay develops the visual direction: typography, color, image choices, graphics and page rhythm. We build on suitable material you already have rather than automatically starting again.

    You decide
The visual direction and any new creative material to include.
    You leave with
Approved visual guidance and the assets needed for the build. New photography or extra image production has its own scope.
  3. 03

    Build & review

    Anna leads the Squarespace build

Anna brings the approved words and visuals into a working site. We use native platform features first and add custom code where it serves a clear purpose. We both review the result.

    You decide
Consolidated feedback on the working site and the agreed final changes.
    You leave with
A website ready for launch, checked on desktop and mobile within the agreed testing scope.
  4. 04

    Launch & handoff

Together · Anna leads the walkthrough

We review publishing, account access and the updates you’ll make yourself. Anna’s recorded walkthrough gives you something to return to after launch.

    You decide
Launch approval, who maintains what, and any ongoing support you need.
    You leave with
A live site, clear ownership and update instructions, with ongoing costs and support boundaries agreed.

Have a ready visual identity, copy and images? A focused build may be enough. Need a new direction? A Jay-led Design Week can come before Anna’s Build Week. We agree the scope and timing before scheduling; a shop, original photography or custom interaction may need another stage.

Before Build Week: what needs to be ready? The checklist
  • Site goals, structure and page scope agreed.
  • Copy, images, identity assets, typography and color ready.
  • Platform access and required integrations understood.
  • A decision-maker and a workable review rhythm confirmed.

If those foundations need work, we make room for them first. A Visual Guide & Asset Package is one way to prepare the creative material—not a requirement when your existing material is already suitable.

Which platform fits your project?Native first · custom by intention

Managed Squarespace

When you or your team regularly update content and need a dependable editor.

Linked systems

When commerce, booking, membership or scheduling already lives elsewhere. Keep the operational data where it belongs.

Custom web

When an interaction or publishing experience is central to the project. Custom code needs a defined purpose, a named build lead, and a support and recovery plan.

Your domain and ongoing subscriptions should remain under your control, with access, costs and maintenance responsibilities made clear before launch.

04 / One idea, many places

Make it once.
See where it can go.

A website can do more than hold information. An announcement might also become an email, a printed notice, or something displayed on a screen.

05 / What we can make together

The website
is only part of the picture.

A website brings together words, images, identity, design and the ways people interact with your work. Sometimes those materials already exist. Sometimes we make them as part of the project.

Website design + buildStructure, typography and working pages.

Site structure, responsive pages, navigation, typography, color and a dependable way to update your work. We prefer built-in platform tools and add custom features where they have a clear purpose.

Photography + visual identityOriginal material with its own character.

Photography, portraits, image editing, art direction, color, type and graphics when the project needs new visual material. These can also be independent Lemon Juice projects.

Publishing beyond the websiteUseful in more than one place.

Print pieces, newsletters, displays and other materials that bring the work to different places. We decide which formats belong in the project before making them.
